About Ethan Geffel
I’m a Junior goalkeeper (Class of 2027) from Pittsburgh, PA and I’ve been passionate about soccer since I first stepped on the field at age 5. I’ve spent the past 11 years developing my skills across local, school, club and travel teams.
At the club level, I have 2 years of MLS NEXT experience with Beadling SC, where I faced top-tier competition including St. Louis Scott Gallagher, Chicago Fire, and FC Cincinnati. I’m currently in my third year as an ECNL goalie with the Pittsburgh Riverhounds. During my Sophomore season, I was the only 2009 ECNL keeper on the roster, and my team won the ECNL Florida Showcase with a perfect 3-0 record, conceding just one goal across the tournament.
At the high school level, I’ve been the starting varsity goalkeeper at Eden Christian Academy since my freshman year. During each of my high school seasons, I led my team to the Western Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic League (WPIAL) playoffs. As a junior, I served as team captain and was honored with selection to the 2025 Class A All-WPIAL team. Academically, I’m a National Honors Society student on the accelerated track with a 4.05 overall GPA.
I’m deeply committed to continuing my soccer career at the Division 1 collegiate level and I would welcome the opportunity to speak to you.
